Nike Air Max 1 2009 Retro

I know the Maxims are dropping now too, but the 2009 retro of the Air max 1, or 87, whatever you wanna call it, is now dropping at select quickstrike retail stores.
The maxims are cool, but I want these, so if you know where I can get them, let me know!

US Soccer Shocks the World

Although I am not a huge soccer fan, I was fortunate enough to see the US Men's soccer team pull of one of the biggest upsets in Soccer history.

The U.S. soccer team pulled off a major upset Thursday, beating top-ranked Spain 2-0 on goals by Jozy Altidore and Clint Dempsey.

The victory sends the Americans to the Confederations Cup final, and snaps Spain's 15-game winning streak. Spain hadn't been beaten since a loss to Romania in November 2006. (Info provided by the AP)

The US will play the winner of South Africa, and Brazil on Sunda in the Final of the Confederation Cup.

Oregon Football Unveils New Unis for 2009

As always, The Ducks of Oregon, have the flashiest uniforms in College Football. I like how they use the different color combination's, 384 to be exact, even though they catch a lot of crap over it. Since it is Phil Knight's Alma mater, they better have the freshest look from Nike. This year, according to yahoo.com, "Players were active in the design process -- Nike sent reps to campus to meet with a few members the team and discuss what was most important to them in a new uniform. They would have skipped the middle man and gone straight to the Ducks' most important recruiting targets, but that would have been a violation or something."

Had to post this, since I am a fan of Nike!!

Kobe On Jimmy Kimmel

We all know Kobe is always gonna draw comparisons to MJ, but what everyone may not know is the love that Kobe has for Jordan. The Lakers were on the Jimmy Kimmel Show after winning the Championship last week, and Kobe was rocking the Royal 2001 Jordan retro Is.




Kobe was first seen wearing the White/Red Michael Jordan Game Jersey a few years back leaving the staples center after a game!

Nike Air Trainer SC High: AKA Bo Jackson's

Nike is going to be digging even further in NikeHeads pockets, come Holiday 2009. 3 pairs of Jordan XII, Space Jams, and now Trainer SC High. I remember when I had these, but they had the "34" on the back. One of the hottest shoes Nike had released, will now finally be "re-released!"
