NDS Jordan French Blue VII (10.5) and NDS 97 Pearl Foamposite (9)
I am a big fan of the Orange/Blue colorway, especially on the Trainer SC Bo Jackson "Auburn" release that dropped earlier in 2009. I got these in yesterday, along with another pair. I am contemplating returning the other for a pair that I already have in "MY LOCKER"
If I decide to keep, I will post the pics. But once again, the quality on NIKEID is very very nice!
Jordan Brand has killed it with this one. Jordan Brand College teams, such as UNC, Georgetown and Cal will be wearing the "Silver Anniversary" unis, along with the Jordan 2010's. The teams will be debuting these this weekend, as UNC started it off last night vs. Florida State!
Got my Kanye Clot inspired Air Max 1 ID in on Thursday, still waiting for some more, but here is how they turned out. What do you think? I like the way they turned out!
47 years ago today, the greatest Basketball player to ever step on the hardwood was born in Brooklyn, New York. Just wanted to take the time and thank him. Without him growing up, I don't know if I could ever respect the game of basketball the same!
21 Mercer St. will be dropping their next edition of the "Try On" shoe series on Wednesday February 17th. I would definitely like to get a pair of these. Gonna be tough though!
The largest basketball crowd ever attended the 2010 NBA All Star game in Dallas, TX on Valentine's Day this year. And the venue did not disappoint. 108,713 showed up to Dallas Cowboys stadium, thus proving that the Cowboys' owner Jerry Jones is a genius.
Dwyane Wade (MVP) lead the east to a 141-139 victory over the West.
The game was nice and exciting, but you know I enjoy checking out the kicks more than anything! Here are some pics, or you can go to http://espn.go.com/dallas/gallery/index?id=4915067&image=1 to see the full gallery.
Got lucky and came up on another pair of "Space Jam" Jordans, DEADSTOCK size 10. If you think you may know someone interested, check out MY EBAY auctions, or search retrojay23
Today is THE biggest day of the year for NFL fans. Not only is today the Super Bowl, but it is the most intriguing match up I can remember. People say Defense wins championships, but today will feature the 2 best offensive teams the league. Peyton Manning vs. Drew Brees. WOW, can you say fireworks?!? I am hoping for a shootout, maybe like 38-34, but the more I think about it, I feel that Defense will prevail in today's title game.
I really do not care who wins. It will be cool for WHO DAT nation to experience the Win, but it will solidify Peyton Manning as the BEST QB ever. Yea I said it!
I just want to see a shootout! Did I say that already?
Not only is the Super Bowl the biggest event, industry leaders use this time to promote their products at TV timeouts. I really do not care for the commercials, unless the game is boring. I do not anticipate this game boring me, so I am not looking forward to the commercials. Although I am looking forward to 1. It is the spin off of the legendary Michael Jordan vs. Larry Bird McDonalds commercial where they are playing H-O-R-S-E. This year's version will feature LeBron James and Dwight Howard.
Here is the old commerical:
Here is a preview of the new:
Lastly, this week is usually just another week if you are a Cincinnati fan. Another super bowl, without our beloved Bengals in the BIG game. But this week has created a little bit more excitement than usual. Chad Ochocinco started the "OCNN" Ocho Cinco News Network, which included NFL players Chris Cooley, Ray Rice and Darnell Dockett. Chad debuted is network on Super Bowl media day. If you missed it here it is:
The first week of February was nothing but good to me. Got some nice pickups through ISS, NikeID, and Corporate.
Nike Air Jordan VI "MOTORSPORTS" Size: 10 Picked these up from my man Matt at Corporate I must say, I was a little hesitant to purchase these when I heard the price, but when I saw the quality of the leather, it was a no brainer, and oh yea, it's limited!
This is my first of 5 Nike Air Max 1 ID's on the way. And this will end up being one of my favorites. If you know me, I like Air Max with Navy and Red in them. I love the options that NikeID has right now.
Last but not least, I picked these up off of ISS I have been trying to get a good deal on these for a while and I finally did. They are DS Size 10. Will fit well in my collection.
It has only been a month and some change, but I got off to a good start in 2010, by picking these op off of EBAY For $115. These are not the CDP Raptor VII, but the 2002 retro. They are completely Deadstock, and in perfect condition. I must say, I enjoy finding deals on the net like this one.
For those of you that know me personally, know that I have always had the freshest shoes, period! The one thing that is fun with being a SNEAKERHEAD, is the anticipation of what you are going to get next. I am usually selling, trading shoes to get my next pair. My collection usually stays around 150 pair of shoes. Most of them stay DEADSTOCK too, especially MY JORDANS. I mostly just wear my air max, but as you can see, I am running out of real estate in my spare bedroom. This closet mostly consists of DEADSTOCK (unworn shoes, namely, Jordans)
LeBron James was part of the Cleveland Cavaliers barrage of 3 pointers, tying a league record of 11 in the first quarter! LeBron had 23 in the first on their way to an easy win 114-89 over the L.A. Clippers. LeBron finished with 32 points.
