USSSA "C" World in Sterling Heights, MI
Nothing like playing in the world softball tournament in Sterling Heights, Michigan! A suburb outside of Detroit. We did not play our best tournament of the year, but we did finish 3-2 and finished in the top 25 in the country. Although, Pure Romance from Cincinnati finished 2nd in the world. This goes to show if a team gets hot, they can make a serious run. The only time we played them this year, we beat them 19-11. So we are close, but we just have to put it together.
It is nice to be back in the wonderful state of Ohio!

Farewell To Yankee Stadium
As a kid growing up, nothing meant more to me than Don Mattingly and the New York Yankees. After sitting and watching the "Final" game last night on ESPN, I was not able to hold back the emotion that was passed on to me by my Dad. Growing up, there is nothing better than rooting for your favorite baseball team, and nothing better than watching them win 4 World Series Championships.
Although the most hated organization in sports, last night was the greatest celebration I have ever seen. THE New York Yankees did a helluva job, capped off by a 7-4 win over the Orioles, the final home run hit by non-other "Jose Molina!" Andy Pettitte threw his 2,000 strikeout, and Mr. November closed the night out with a wonderful speech to the fans. (See Below)
I Can't wait to attend the NEW Yankee Stadium. As Michael Kay put it, "the most luxurious hotel you can think of, with a baseball diamond in the middle!"
GO YANKEES!!

OSU Has No Answers for Top Teams
It has almost become a mental thing with the Buckeyes, and they are having trouble WINNING the BIG game. Chris "Beanie" Wells would not have made any difference in this one, as USC was out to stop the run and force Todd Boeckman to beat them. The Buckeyes have not seen speed like this, and the team that was supposed to play in the National Championship may have just played themselves out of it. Voters will not let them get a chance at the BCS game, after the 35-3 thrashing they took lastnight. The worst part about this, is USC could have won 49-3 or 56-3.

Kanye Wild's Out!
Today in LAX, Kanye West had one too many snapshots taken of him while awaiting an American Airlines Flight! Result: A felony charge of vandalism...ALthough we know he will not be charged with it.
Can the man get some space for real? I would have done the same thing! That is why Kanye is a beast!
Here is the Video:

Never Forgotten
Exactly seven years to the day, the United States of America went through one of the most horrific incidents that this country has ever witnessed. We lost lot's of Heroes and innocent lives that day, so as you go through the day today, remember how proud you are to be an American. I know I am!
I will be in the great City of New York tomorrow....

Kanye West-Love Lockdown
After preforming Love Lockdown at the VMA's, it is safe to say that Kanye will be switching his style a little bit in the highly anticipated 4th album of the hip-hop phenom. The album is titled 808 and Heartbreak and is set to release in Mid December!
By the way...Love Lockdown is CUT!
Can't Wait for the new album

Ordinary Tuesday
At 6:30 pm on Tuesday September 9, I was driving to Kolping Park to play 2 softball games a 7:15 and 9:15. Pretty much the usual Tuesday for me, until a Life-Changing experience occurred. As I was taking practice swings before my next at bat, I glanced down the First Base line, and walking in from the parking lot was a Goddess. I couldn't help but take a triple take....And there she was, the woman of my dreams.....
KIM KARDASHIAN!
Not only did I forget about the softball game, the whole REAL DEAL Squad dropped everything, including their stick's to witness her.
Maybe we had too many to drink on this September day, maybe we didn't! But we all saw the FATTEST ASS we have ever seen....

No Excuses for OSU Now!
OSU fans will not have any excuses after they take an ass whooping at the Coliseum this Saturday. Chris "Beanie" Wells has been cleared to play, but does this mean the LUCKEYES line will come to play? They sure has hell didn't against the OU Bobcats! USC's out of conference domination should continue, especially since mastermind Pete Carroll has had 2 weeks to prepare for the game!

No Fun League
The NFL has cracked down so much, you would think player's are playing in prison. Let the guys have some fun. Hell, the only smile I may crack during a Bengals game now, is if Chad were to celebrate.
T.O. has always had great celebrations, and his tribute to Usain Bolt yesterday was another classic. For those who missed it, here it is:

Labor Day Weekend
Hope everyone had a great Holiday...Mine consisted of Softball, and nothing but. Tried to fit some family time in there too, but not as much as I would have liked to. Played in the USSSA National Tournament here in Cincinnati and finished 2nd. Now we have the World Tournament in Detroit September 18-21. That will conclude our season, which has been a memorable one so far.
stay tuned....
